MapleStory

I started playing this game in its Beta stages in November 2004. After a little over a year of play, I was throughly addicted. Some people will love this game and others will simply hate it. Be warned that  it is a near-endless MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role-playing game) due to massive grind. This can be potentially addictive for a while, but is notoriously irksome to many. I've stopped playing it for the most part, but I don't intend to uninstall it or delete/give away my characters. I played as "PsychoK" on Scania Channel 18. I'm a black claw thief. Yes, you ought to be scared of a black man with shurikens.

If you are interested in playing MapleStory, visit their main page here. It is free to play.

[Aug. 16, 2006] GameFAQs List of MapleStory Players

This is exactly what it says it is. A list of MapleStory usernames belonging to those with GameFAQs accounts.  I started this because I did not like the disorganization of the various list topics made on that forums. Looking at the numbers in each class, I've noticed many interesting patterns and whatnot. After nine months (lol pregnancy), I stopped adding names to this list because it grew too tedious. Here is a link to GameFAQs' MapleStory forum where I gathered these names.

[Jun. 20, 2006] Ability Point Distribution

This is what I felt was the generic distrubution of ability points (STR, INT, DEX, LUK) for each character class. These were based mostly on the prerequisites for equipment. Therefore, extreme builds like "No DEX Thief" won't be found here.

[Oct. 9, 2006] Holy Obelisk Questions

This has all the questions asked by the Holy Obelisk as part of the requisites for the third job advancement. I got this from here. The second monster question appears to be a variable depending on what monsters are out and the specific meaning of the question, so listed the three possible answers which are not seen on the site.

[Oct. 9, 2006] Zakum Stats

There may be a few inaccuracies in some portions of the data since I got this information from more than one source. This took some time to make. What's funny is how I never got far enough to actually try fighting him.

Skill Builds

It is important to note that these builds were created so that one could follow each one from first job onward. If something appears confusing in a particular build that is  not first job, refer to the build from the job before it for clarity. I don't play MS anymore, so do not expect fourth job. I'm not even sure if these are viable builds anymore.

Sites

Hidden Street

This extensive and easy-to-use site is the best reference for MapleStory I've yet to encounter. If you're into MapleStory, this is a place that needs to be in your favorites.

Sleepywood.net

This is another great page for MapleStory players. What I see as the highlight of this page is its forums. They appear to be larger and maybe the best MapleStory boards I've yet to find. They have very active barter boards too. That's a good way to get ahead in the game. They even have some bits of information that Hidden Street does not.

Wizinit’s Mapling Corner

Wizinit is one funny guy. Who exactly is he? Explore his site to find out. This link leads to his awesome list of MapleStory slang which is very useful to know.

ACC Calculator

This is an accuracy calculator for MapleStory.  I am uncertain whther or not it is exact so you may use the equation below if you like.

Accuracy = DEX(0.8) + LUK(0.5)

Avoidability = DEX/4 + LUK/2

1 DEX = 0.8 Accuracy and 0.25 Avoidability

1 LUK = 0.5 Accuracy and 0.5 Avoidability

100% hit accuracy = (55 + 2(Level Difference)) * (Monster Avoidability/15)

If your level is the same or higher than the monster, the level difference is 0

Other Games

These are a variety of games I have played that I was able to create some sort of documented information upon. Usually it will be a game with customization involved. Therefore, you should expect role-playing games.

Golden Sun

[Jan. 6, 2006] Golden Sun Djinn Stats

This is neat little chart on the stat boosts each Djinni gives. The red numbers show which Djinn gives the highest boost in the stat which labels that column. This is very useful when refining your party for link battle matches.

[Jan. 6, 2006] Golden Sun: The Lost Age Djinn Stats

This is a chart just like the one above, except it is for the second game. Since it is possible to trade Djinn for the first game to this one, they are included in this chart. What is missing, however, are the bonus Djinn you can find if you do not transfer Djinn from Golden Sun. Call it my way of urging you to do that transfer because without it you'll miss out on an awesome secret boss named Dullahan, who is the result of putting outrageously hard in a suit of armor.

Sites

Golden Sun Realm

This is an excellent Golden Sun site made by Cinder. She also made a great Golden Sun 2 FAQ on GameFAQs. Lots of information about the Golden Sun games obviously. I got all of my Golden Sun music from here. It's a great place.

Halo 2

[May 2, 2006] Halo 2 Gametypes

I made one gametype for each Multiplayer Mode. Some of them I like more than the others (as seen with flavor text and whatnot), but they're all quite fun. "Fun" in my eyes that is. I do not understand how this "No shields, all pistols LOL" games are enjoyable. If that's what you were looking for, then you are quite mistaken.

Sites

Halo.Bungie.Org (HBO)

This site has a massive amount of Halo information. From game mechanics to storyline theories, it pretty much has it all. Even if you know nothing about Halo, this is a great place to browse.

XBConnect

Though Xbox Live may be a great and cheap service, some people may not play Halo 2 online enough to want to pay for Xbox Live. Maybe they are just lazy, or perhaps they just don't want to be bothered. This is why we have great services like Xbox Connect. It's absolutely free and very easy to setup. It is not just of Halo 2 of course. Many other games are supported by it as well.

Vektorious Productions

This site hosts a variety of very well done videos from various games. This link brings you right to the download area where you can look at some of them yourself. Some excellent Halo and Halo 2 videos are within this library.

Halo2Customs.com

A variety of different and enjoyable Halo 2 gametypes can be found here. You can even submit your own which I did with a few of my own.

Rockman.EXE (RMEXE)

[Jul. 30, 2006] RMEXE Folders & Navi Customizer Setups

These are several folders and NC setups that I've made myself. Expect a lot of these to be from RMEXE3 since I thought it was the best one. Though, RMEXE6 comes pretty close. I managed to create a horrifically sinister folder named "Gaia Colossus." Since it granted me so many victories, I am not publically releasing it. That may change if a notable RMEXE3 competition somehow occurs though...

Sites

RockmanEXE: The College Years

This is an awesome fanfic by Anime Master ZERO. I can barely recall when he started it, but it's purely awesome. I could not keep up with how fast he made these great stories which are far better than this "Megaman NT Warrior" crap and stuff they dare to show on American TV. It will take you quite some time to read it, but every minute is worth it.

Pokemon

"Pokemon?!" you may be thinking. Am I told old to be even associating with this game? I don't think so. Why? The game is far more complex than you may have first thought. There's nothing wrong wih it. It is only childish if you allow it to be.

[May 2, 2006] Methods to Making Great Pokemon

This is awfully long and thorough. A great read for you intense Pokemon players. I know you're out there. Even if you don't play Pokemon, you may which to skim through it. It just might captivate your interest a little. It pertains to the third generation games (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald).

[May 7, 2006] Pokemon Natures and Traits

This is a simple chart on Pokemon natures, or personalities. It is handy to have if you are an intense Pokemon player. 20 of the personalities increase on stats by 10% and decrease another by 10%. Five of them have no influence on Pokemon growth. It pertains to the third generation games (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald) and onward.

Sites

Serebii.net (SPP)

That SPP may mean "Serebii's Pokemon Planet". I'm not sure, but it is definitely huge enough to be several planets. It has loads and loads of information on Pokemon. Plenty of references for the anime, games, manga, trading card games and more. It even has a board too which yields some very good stuff.
